Michael Entity

The Michael entity is a mid-Casual teacher composed of approximately 1050 fragments (or souls) that lived and completed out their lives on Earth as human beings. They now teach people still incarnate on Earth through the use of channeling. The collection of material channeled from Michael is known as the Michael teachings. They were originally channeled through Sarah Chambers, and Sarah Chambers's work was originally published through a book, Messages from Michael, written by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. The Michael teachings has since expanded to include a variety of channels and students working with Michael across the globe.

Name Origin and Usage

"Michael" was a name chosen by the Michael entity. It was the name in life of a fragment that is now part of the Michael entity. It was chosen at random and does not have any meaning beyond the simple convenience that names offer.

Because the Michael entity is not one "individual" as we would understand it, they are referred to in the plural. However the name "Michael" implies the singular form, so this has occasionally caused some confusion. Because of this, there are various nicknames and ways of referring to Michael. For example, "the M's" or "the Michaels." Others find the use of the singular form most convenient. However, using "Michael" in the plural form is typically considered the proper usage.
